With a contagious smile and captivating charm, trumpet virtuoso, BYRON STRIPLING, has ignited audiences internationally. As soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Stripling has performed frequently under the baton of Keith Lockhart, as well as being featured soloist on the PBS television special, "Evening at Pops," with conductors John Williams and Mr. Lockhart. Currently, Stripling serves as the principal pops conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony and the artistic director and conductor of the highly acclaimed Columbus Jazz Orchestra.

Chalk the Block
Location: Around Fountain Square
Cost: Small Squares $6 Large Squares: $12 (each comes with chalk!)

When: Register Beginning July 10 at 10:00am: chalk drawing July 19-21

All ages are invited to create colorful chalk drawings on the pavement surrounding Fountain Square in Downtown Lancaster. Chalking begins July 19, then finished works are revealed and appreciated by all during ArtWalk on July 21.
